RENERGY Foods AG, parent of subsidiary RENERGY Foods Canada, developer of market disruptive horticultural technologies targeting global commercial and retail growers announced today that it has received its building permit from the City of Surrey allowing the Company to build a state of the art demonstration ETFE Biodome.
The approved permit application was filed July 25th, 2011. The Company plans to have the 27 by 9 metre Biodome completed onsite by end of September to mid-October 2011. The building site is located at 4171-184th Street, Surrey BC.
“Once the demonstration Biodome is built, we are confident that it will be the proof of concept that will lead to significant orders.” Said Tom Colclough, President of RENERGY Foods AG.
“While we have identified substantial interest to date and potential orders during the concept stage, we are confident that rapid order growth will follow. The Biodome will be a state of the art structure showcasing our environmentally friendly, proprietary growing technologies.”
Due to their unique structure, RENERGY’s ETFE biodomes are environmentally friendly and can be located anywhere, including in the most climatically inhospitable areas. Given the enhanced yields as a result of the Company’s ability to grow high margin produce for 12 months of the year, faster growing times and cost-effective energy management, clients will experience faster capital payback, enhanced profitability and compelling, consistent revenue growth.
